2020 Toyota Tacoma, Features and Release Date | What's Included In the New 2020 Toyota Tacoma?

Toyota revealed the new, improved, and more equipped than ever 2020 Toyota Tacoma at the Chicago Auto Show. The Tacoma has been one of America's best selling midsized pick-up trucks for over 14 years. With more than 30 configurations and six model grades available, the 2020 Tacoma fits every need. Nearly all 2020 Tacoma models boast a new front grille design, available LED headlights and restyled taillights. On the inside, you will find an upgraded steering wheel and a new 10-way power adjustable driver seat. The brand new multimedia system now includes Andriod Auto, Apple CarPlay, and Amazon Alexa compatibility. Not to mention, the 2020 Toyota Tacoma SR will feature an upgraded 7-inch touchscreen and the SR5 will feature an 8-inch touchscreen display.

The Toyota Tacoma SR is getting a new grille and will also feature a 7-inch touchscreen with new multimedia system that is compatible with Andriod Auto, Apple Carplay, Amazon Alexa, and SiriusXM, plus more! The SR5 is also getting a new grille design, a 16-inch dark satin steering wheel, upgraded backseat fabric, as well as an available LED bed lamp and DRL headlight. As for the Tacoma TRD Sport, it will feature both a new grille and steering wheel changes. It will also feature Smart Key entry and LED fog lamps. The new Panoramic View Monitor is available on Sport grades, and helps to better maneuver in tight situations. The 2020 TRD Off-Road will come with a brand new front grille design, LED fog lamp, chrome insert taillamp, and Smart Key Entry. The Multi-Terrain Monitor is also available to provide a better view of the terrain underneath the truck. TRD Off-Road also comes standard with Hill Assist Control, Multi-Terrain Select, and Crawl Control. The Tacoma Limited’s look is more premium than ever with a new grille design, 18-inch alloy wheels, and chrome taillamp inserts just to name a few. It also received the upgraded Smart Key operation on the passenger door. The new Panoramic View Monitor comes standard on the Limited-grade Tacomas.

The 2020 Tacoma offers two different tough powertrains. The 2.7-liter DOHC 4-cylinder with 159 horsepower and 180 lb-ft of torque, and a 3.5-liter V6 with 278 horsepower and 265 lb-ft of torque. Both are teamed to a 6-speed Electronically Controlled Automatic Transmission with intelligence, and the V6 can also be paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. The V6-powered 2020 Toyota Tacomas come standard with the Tow Package, which includes Class IV receiver hitch, engine oil cooler, automatic transmission fluid cooler, power steering cooler, and more! It's also worth mentioning that when properly equipped, the 2020 Tacoma can pull up to 6,800 lbs.

Across the board, every 2020 ToyotaTacoma will receive an upgraded audio system and a larger touchscreen display, but each vehicle is getting specific upgrades that are unique to that trim. Don't worry though, Toyota Safety Sense comes standard on every Tacoma model. It includes the Pre-Collision System, Lane Departure Alert, Automatic High Beams and High-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control.
